We have an opportunity for an IOM professional in Denver, CO. We can consider both managerial and staff-level technologists. Cases are predominantly spinal surgeries, but this is always subject to change in the future. This is a beautiful region with a lot to offer.
Position details and requirement
Clinical Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of clinical IOM experience + CNIM certification.
Environment: The core team works consistently with the same surgeons, and all surgeries monitored remotely by a board-certified neurologist. Please note that we are willing to consider candidates at all levels, including those who seek a managerial role.
Call Requirements: Call is covered on rotation with other team members. When taken, the compensation will be substantial.
Travel: None
Mileage: All mileage beyond 5 miles is reimbursed at the IRS rate. That’s more money in your pocket that few IOM employers offer.
Bonuses: There are times in IOM when cases run late or start late (after 6pm). If this occurs, a special bonus plan kicks in that provides additional compensation beyond your base salary. This can result in significant additional pay over the course of a year – Nice!
Scheduling/Time Off: 4-day weeks are common. 3 weeks of PTO is included.
Case Breakdown: 100% spine today, but this could diversify in the future. Training on craniotomies and other complex procedures is available.
Location: Denver, CO: All surgery centers and hospitals are within 30 miles of downtown Denver and commutable via the I-25 corridor.
Credentialing: Note that hospital credentialing in the Denver metro area can be time consuming. If you are relocating from another state, please factor in processing time.
Compensation: $100k-$125k based on skill + call pay + bonuses + mileage + 401k/Roth + HC insurance + cell phone allowance + Relocation (if needed).
