Senior Sales Territory Manager — Southeast/ South Central

Senior Sales Territory Manager – Southeast/South Central, Opportunity

Opportunity: Are you frustrated by selling “me too” products on bid? Are you tired of year-long sales cycles? Is your quota increasing, while your geographic territory shrinks? Are you stressed to the breaking point because you have to “exceed an unrealistic quota” every single quarter? Are you tired of living in a hotel room 5 days per week? Would you prefer the refreshing environment of a younger, but highly respected company where your contribution is appreciated and rewarded? If so, read on…

This is a unique opportunity to join a young, but hungry proprietary manufacturer with unlimited growth potential. If our client does not have a patent in a particular niche and cannot dominate a market, they will not pursue it!

You will have significant impact on driving revenue across all clinical markets, with emphasis on the Neonatal ICU, Pediatric ICU, Neurocritical Care, and Continuous Brain Monitoring arena. Due to the development of new products in conjunction with the explosion of key market segments, the time is right for expansion across North America. There is very limited competition due to proprietary technology that appeals tremendously to end users (hospitals, sleep labs, neuro clinics, etc) that seek to reduce their costs, while still offering world class patient care. This is a superior product line to represent!

Company: Our client has been in business for more than a decade and is financially stable, employing over 40 full-time staff domestically and 100+ internationally. The company’s proprietary neurological technologies are poised to explode into the IOM, EEG, Epilepsy, cEEG, MRI, and CT marketplace. The company’s focus on research and development has always been its strength and it owns and operates all of its own manufacturing facilities.  This in-house quality control is a key strategic advantage. Now, with a huge infusion of capital, sales across North America will be supported by the emergence of a strong, nation-wide sales force.

The goal and the challenge: Your objective will be to leverage your experience in neuro sales across a multi-state region. You will have all of the resources necessary for success. There is already a core sales team, an existing product line that is well recognized and respected, and a profound focus on new product development.

Responsibilities: Your “sales expertise” will be rewarded and appreciated unlike any other time in your career! We specifically seek hungry, ambitious professionals that can leverage existing contacts and simultaneously expand their footprint. Visionaries will understand the financial upside of working for an emerging leader.

Support: The company already has a very strong technical support team, comprised of clinicians and PhD’s in neuroscience. All of the “technical assistance” you will need for product demonstrations or literature will be at your disposal. Everything you need to succeed will be provided…the company just needs you to be the sales wizard that you are!

Travel: 30% travel across your designated region as well as quarterly trade show attendance. Unlike typical “outside sales” positions, it will not be necessary to live in a hotel room. Much of the sales process may be performed via telephone, with travel focused on strategic follow-up rather than cold calling.

Required Experience: 10+ years selling capital equipment or disposables. Familiarity with neuro call points is critical, along with the ability to leverage your relationships with decision makers.

Location: South-East and South-Central US (From TX East and MD South)

Compensation: A first year, guaranteed salary of $125k is offered to provide ample time for product adoption. A commission plan will be introduced in 2016, and will be structured to greatly reward growth in the seeds you have planted.  This market is poised to explode and is greatly under-penetrated.

Timing and Next Steps: Our client will be conducting first round interviews at the end of June, with a targeted start date of no later than August, 2015. To be considered, please submit a resume and statement of interest as soon as possible.
