We have an opportunity for a senior level IOM professional in Houston, TX. Would you enjoy monitoring some of the most interesting and exotic neuro cases in the world? You’ll have the opportunity to work in the Texas Medical Center, which is home to world renowned institutions such as MD Anderson, Baylor Medical Center, TX Heart Institute, and Memorial Hermann. Position details and requirements:
Call Requirements: Call is covered every 5th week on rotation and involves a highly aggressive compensation structure. There is little after hours call during the week, but some weekend coverage is required.
Clinical Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of clinical IOM experience + CNIM certification. A high level of proficiency monitoring craniotomies is required (tumor resection, aneurysm clipping, cranial nerve monitoring, BAER’s, EMG, motor mapping, etc).
Environment: Join a core team that will stretch your intellectual limits by working on some of the most interesting and advanced cases in the world. You’ll also have the opportunity to share your knowledge by teaching others about all facets of advanced neuro case coverage. All surgeries monitored remotely by a board-certified neurologist.
