Associate Director of Clinical Success — EEG Mkt

Are you seeking a challenging leadership role in the EEG space?  Would you like to do far more than clinical EEG’s within a hospital environment?  Do you seek a direct path into senior management?  Would you prefer the refreshing environment of a young, but highly respected company where your contribution is appreciated and rewarded?  If so, read on…

This is a unique opportunity to join a hungry, proprietary manufacturer with unlimited growth potential!

You will have significant impact on patient care across all clinical markets, with emphasis on a hugely under-served neuro market that has traditionally focused on hardware sales.  Due to the development of new products in conjunction with the explosion of key market segments, the time is right for expansion across North America.  There is very limited competition due to proprietary technology that appeals tremendously to end users (neuro clinics and hospitals) that seek to reduce their costs and improve patient comfort, while still offering world class patient care.  This is a superior product line to represent!

Company:  Our client is a start-up manufacturer, but is financially stable, employing 45+ staff members.   The company’s proprietary neurological technologies are poised to explode into the EEG and cEEG marketplace.  The company’s focus on research and development has always been its strength and it owns and operates all of its own manufacturing facilities.   This in-house quality control is a key strategic advantage.  Now, with a huge infusion of capital, sales across North America will be supported by the emergence of a strong, nation-wide sales force.

The goal and the challenge:  Your objective will be to leverage your experience in neurodiagnostics (EEG) to ensure that customers are satisfied once a sale has been made.  You will be part of the core support team and will be looked upon to help guide the company forward.  Your impact will be far more than that of a typical “clinical rep.”  If the thrill and energy associated with an entrepreneurial company poised to disrupt the EEG market appeals to you, this could be a great fit.

Career Trajectory:  You will have the inside track for a VP-level, management role within 6-12 months.  Ultimately, you will direct a team of support specialists across the country.  Hence, a desire to lead will be crucial in this role.

Responsibilities:  Your “clinical and technical expertise” will be rewarded and appreciated unlike any other time in your career!  We specifically seek a hungry, ambitious professional with a profound understanding of both clinical EEG and the technical infrastructure that supports it.  Visionaries will understand the financial upside of working for an emerging leader with disruptive technology.

Support:  The company already has an existing technical support team, comprised of clinicians and PhD’s in neuroscience.  You will work in conjunction with the national sales team to potentially assist with product demonstrations, but the primary objective will be to ensure that end users are satisfied once a sale has closed.  Everything you need to succeed will be provided…the company just needs you to be the clinical & technical wizard that you are!

Travel:  50% travel across the country as well as quarterly trade show attendance.  On-site interaction is critical to this role.

Required Experience:  3+ years in a clinical EEG setting (REEGT).  In addition to knowledge of EEG (routine, ambulatory, and LTM), a strong acumen for technology will be mandatory.  We expect that a future director will have the technical ability to pass the Comptia IT certification exam within 6 months of being hired.  It is also imperative that you understand how EEG’s are traditionally performed to properly demonstrate the value associated with a new approach.

Location:  East Coast of the US, with a preference for anyone willing to relocate to NC.  This is a senior-level position within the company, and the ability to lead/train others as well as engage in strategic meetings with the leadership team is critical.  We anticipate that many essential functions will be conducted out of a corporate office in NC.

Compensation:  Salary in the $90k-$110k range + a variable bonus plan.  Benefits will include HC insurance, 401k, a company credit card, and equity in the firm.  The employer will also cover all moving expenses, if you are willing to relocate to NC.
