We have an immediate opening for a board certified neurologist who is passionate about IOM. This is a great opportunity for someone seeking the opportunity to join an industry leader, providing remote oversight. All monitoring can be done from a home office. Our client will assist with obtaining any required state licenses and hospital privileges.
Location: Anywhere, USA (with a preference for those located in the Eastern time zone)
Role: Remote Monitoring of adult and pediatric patients
Experience: At least 1 year of remote IOM oversight required; we will consider those who have less experience if they have completed a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology and/or hold a specialty certification in IOM.
Educational Opportunities: An internal group was formed to foster continuing education. Webinars on a variety of clinical topics are offered on a monthly basis, with curriculum specifically geared to interpreting physicians. Additionally, each team member receives a yearly stipend to attend conferences/lectures of their choosing (ASNM, ACNS, AAN, etc).
Estimated Compensation: Negotiable based upon experience + benefits; Fellows can expect to be in the $230k range to start. Experienced candidates may be higher, depending upon circumstances. There is potential for those seeking to work on additional cases to earn more.
Compensation Structure: This is a full-time, salaried position. We are not seeking someone that wants to split their time monitoring for various IOM companies, nor those seeking contract work. All benefits, insurance, and licensure fees will be included as part of the overall compensation package. In addition to a base salary, physicians will have the opportunity to earn an “overage” bonus that can put an average of $15k-$65k in your pocket per year. Additional extras may be earned during call weekday and weekend call.
Workload: 15 cases per day (on avg); Weekend call rotation is required every 5 weeks. 1 day of call is required each week, and this day can be stationary.
